you smell like warm

I feel permanent, and I guess I haven't felt permanent in so long that it's scary.

This series is about photography, narrative, and ownership. It concerns domesticity, chaos and the passing of time. Preservation and destruction are subjects of the series; they also play a role in the way it was formed. Retrieving images from one archive and using them to create a new one reveals how we ascribe meaning. Creating a new context for photographs is to make an awareness of them as subject and object; revealing much about the nature of photography itself. To place an object into a vitrine, a glass display case, removes the subject from its value in reality while simultaneously immortalizing it in place.
